It's me. I'm the burned out marketing exec.

Look, I'm an elder millennial oldest daughter. I try too hard. I want you to like me. I don't have a therapist, when I know I should.

Fantasy books are my therapy. When I pour too much of myself into work, books offer an escape. When my kids scream "mom, mom, mom!" about whatever tiny drama, books are my quiet place.

When I quit my job, I knew I wanted to write my own book. But I was scared. What if people think I failed at my career? What if all the good marketing jobs disappear and I really do fail?

I don't know how the story ends (I'm still writing it). I do know I'm having fun. I'm less burned out, and I'm learning a ton. I share updates in an email every week or two. Would love if you followed along.
