What's coming next?

It's happening! I'm sitting down to start writing the sequel to No Gods West of Here. I don't want to give too much away, but the vibes will be dark academia on the frontier—think, reform school in the forest, with all the magic and fallen god energy of NGWOH.

Of course, the first book isn't finished yet, it's still with my developmental editor. As soon as I get my dev edits back, I'll be all hands on deck rushing to finish it. My rough timeline is:

• Receive dev edits by January 31

• Block off February and March for edits

• Submit for copy edits by April 1

• Get copy edits back by April 30

• Block off May for final edits

• Format & share ARCs by June 15 (and submit for final proofreading—ARC readers will get some typos)

• Release the week of July 27th

But, I have a full month between now and then, plus April and June and much of July. This is ambitious, but if I can make serious progress on the sequel in that timeframe I'll be able to put up a preorder link when the first book launches, aiming for a November 2026 release.

Who knows, maybe we could have a completed duology by the end of the year!
